Sunday, August 16 — Sweat lodge — Ceremony at Menla
10 am - 4pm
Menla Mountain Retreat, Phoenicia, NY
Alison Sinatra + Lynn Schauwecker
Come back into the womb of the Earth Mother and receive.
A sweat lodge is an ancient technology of connection. Within the lodge we gather with prayer, fire, steam, stone people, heat, darkness, songs, and sacred herbs. Together these elements create a powerful container where participants may release physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual burdens.
This ceremony has been carried through generations by Indigenous relatives who have tended these ways with devotion and prayer. When we enter the lodge with humility and intention, it becomes a place of purification, remembrance, and renewal—where the body softens, the heart opens, and the spirit is restored.
You can sign up for all three or pick what fits your schedule.
Please, share this with mother’s you know who may need this in their life.
